HISTORY

 

Sharon is a graduate of Huston-Tillotson College in Austin, TX with a B.A. in Business Administration. Sharon also studied Military Science Transportation at The University Texas in Austin and later commissioned to the United States Army as a Second Lieutenant.  She served two years active duty and 12 years in the Army Reserve. While serving as a Captain in the Army Reserve, Sharon trained cadets at The University of Toledo and continued her education in the Master’s Program for Human Resources Education Technology at The University of Toledo and the University of Iowa.  Sharon also attended the University of Dallas where she studied Architectural Technology.

 

In 1995, Sharon founded Bradley D’s Cleaning Service, focusing in new construction cleanup and grading. In 1996 she established Bradley General Contracting, LLC specializing in custom homes, remodeling and miscellaneous concrete. In 2005 the companies were merged and became Bradley Douglas Construction Services, LLC. Sharon continued to advance her knowledge in construction by attending the Turner Construction School of Management, TEXO Contractor Alliance Program, UT Systems Model Contractor Development Program, NTTA Road Program, and the first AGC Short Civil Course for Small Businesses.

 

Under Sharon's leadership, the company grew and began to extend its capabilities into commercial and heavy highway projects. The company has completed an array of projects with Hensel Phelps, Granite Construction, Ferrovial Agroman, Texas Sterling, Holder Construction, Webber Construction, Hunt Construction, and Austin Bridge Road. Bradley Douglas Construction Services, LLC has also worked for the City of Hurst, City of Fort Worth and countless other municipalities. As the company continued to grow and became focused on heavy highway projects, Sharon felt to be a viable construction company the name Bradley Douglas Construction Services, LLC had far exceeded its growth potential. The name needed to change, thus Bradley Douglas Construction Services, LLC changed its name to Potere Construction LLC in 2017. 

 

Sharon is the sole owner of Potere Construction LLC with offices in Fort
Worth, TX and Atlanta, GA. Her daily role is to manage the operations of the
company, to include, Building Customer Relations, Bidding, Proposal Writing,
Contract Review, Budgets, Project Management, Personnel Management,
Safety and Training.
